The Riverina BMW Food and Wine Festival will be returning to the region on March 27 next year, albeit a little differently.
Festival chairman, David Pyke, said they are working to make sure the event will stick to any public health guidelines.
"At this stage, the major issue we have is making sure everyone is seated," he said.
"All tickets sales will have to be done online and everyone has to be registered, and we may have to do temperature checks."
The foodie and wine lovers' event would normally attracts more than 3500 visitors to the Victory Memorial Gardens.
But, Mr Pyke said, it's more likely they will be able to have about 1500 for the 2021 festival.

"When you put everyone down at a table and chairs, it is very different to families sitting next to each other on rugs," he said.
"But it will still be a great event."
Mr Pyke said the Wollundry Rotary had lost their two biggest fundraisers after having to cancel Gears and Beers and the Riverina Food and Wine Festival.
But, he added, they have had great support from their major sponsor BMW as well as Yenda Beer and Wagga City Council as they look to host the 2021 event.
"It will be a fantastic time," Mr Pyke said.
"There will be great food, great wine and it's all to help support our local charities."
