And this festive season, the mission has never been more critical.
The Combined Riders of Wagga have been organising the Toy Run for more than 30 years, said committee member Pat Combs.
"We have been raising money in the six months up to the toy run, and we go out and buy toys to give to local charities to hand out," he said.
Mr Combs said after bushfires and a pandemic, the need to help others is strong than ever.
"A lot of people have been out of work, and a lot of people are struggling with rent and bills," he said.
"This is just a small way to help and bring a smile to some kids' faces."
Residents can meet the riders at any of the below locations to donate toys or money, or they can flag down the two cars which can pull over to pick up donations along the ride.
All cash donations are spent on toys, and all toys are donated to the Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul for distribution in the Riverina.
Mr Combs said the annual event wouldn't be possible without Ron Crouch Transport, Junee Correctional Facility and the Commonwealth Bank.
He added, people can also drop in a gift at Cincotta Discount Chemist which would pass it on to the Combined Riders of Wagga.

"All riders are welcome to join us. They just have to bring a toy to donate and register at Jubliee Oval before 9am," Mr Combs said.
"We will be sending the riders out in groups of 20 or 30 to abide by social distancing.
"Anyone wanting to donate or needs toys picked up can phone me on 0408 420 766."
