About 7am on Thursday, the occupants of a home on Grevillea Crescent were woken by a man standing in their bedroom.
A police spokesperson said the 22-year-old allegedly fled on foot before the occupants were able to notify police.
With the assistance of a police dog 'Buster', the spokesperson said the man was tracked to a nearby home where police entered and arrested the man.
In other news:
He was taken to Wagga Police Station where he was charged with aggravated break and enter with intent.
The man was refused bail and is due to appear in Wagga Local Court today.
