TRAC will go into next week's schoolboy rugby union final as warm favourites after a 20-7 win over the inaugural champions at Conolly Rugby Complex on Thursday.
An intercept try to Harry Allen just before half-time ignited TRAC.
Coach Luke Richardson was impressed with how the team has developed over the first five games.
"We're really starting to gel as a side," Richardson said.
"In the early games we weren't really confident in doing anything and all of a sudden we are contesting scrums, doing mauls, picking and driving, cleaning out and all those fun rugby things that they didn't know how to do.
"It is nice for them to have that initiative to know what to do.
"They are backing themselves now while before they may have had the skills but didn't know when to use them."
Little separated the two sides in the first half but it was TRAC who dominated the second stanza.
Jack Lloyd scored early in the second half before TRAC maintained their advantage with a couple of penalty goals to set up a rematch with Kildare.
TRAC took a 22-7 win when the teams met last week but Kildare hit back with a 33-12 win over Kooringal High School.
After falling one short last season, Kildare will need to improve their discipline to take the title after giving Kooringal plenty of opportunities in the final pool game.
Meanwhile Wagga High School and Wagga Christian College both put in their best performances of the season.
However it was Wagga High who got on the board with a 32-12 win.
