Security cameras captured the pair brazenly entering the Lake Albert home on Lakeside Drive at about 9pm on Monday, where a mother and daughter were inside completely unaware of the intruders.
Wishing to remain anonymous for their safety as police continue investigations, the 25-year-old daughter said she couldn't believe how "confident and rude" the offenders were.
"It's something like what you'd see in the movies, and you just don't believe it would ever happen to you," she said.
"They just walked right through the front door, it was unlocked because we were all still up and awake, you just don't think that would be necessary."
While the pair got away with car keys, a handbag, an iPad, and phone, it was not the materialistic loss that had the family so shaken.
"I was still in the shower, and the cameras show that at one point they would have been watching me, we don't know how long for but they hung around the house for an hour," the daughter said.
"How dare they make us feel uncomfortable in our own home, that's our private space, a space that you come home to at the end of the day to feel safe and now it doesn't feel so secure anymore."
In other news:
The mother who was also home at the time was doing ironing, with footage showing the intruders watching her while her back was turned.
"It's a nightmare, I'd hate to think what they would have done to Mum if I wasn't there," the 25-year-old said.
Riverina Police District Detective Inspector Adrian Telfer confirmed police were investigating the incident.
"Police were on scene that morning. It was an invasive incident, and hopefully we can bring it to a conclusion soon," he said.
