FIREFIGHTERS have extinguished what is believed to be a stolen car set alight under the Eunony Bridge in Wagga this morning.
Riverina Zone Rural Fire Service duty officer Brad Stewart said two crews were deployed to the scene just after 11am.
"The fire had spread from the car, which is a Hyundai Elantra, to surrounding grass but crews have now got the blaze under control," he said.

FIREFIGHTERS are currently working to extinguish a blaze which broke out after a car was set alight under the Eunony Bridge this morning.
The fire was first reported at about 11am on Tuesday, igniting along Eunony Bridge Road, East Wagga.
NSW Rural Fire Service crews are on scene where the fire remains at an Advice level, but out of control.
It is not yet confirmed how far the fire has spread.
