The gallery was filled with enthusiastic young creatives who mastered their own large-scale drawings inspired by architecture across the city.
The gallery invites young people aged 16 - 26 to attend the next Big Draw #2 on Friday, November 27, from 6pm, where students will look at 'old-school' drawing and animation techniques using overhead projectors. Students will be guided by artist Todd Fuller who will join them in the gallery via Zoom.
This event forms part of a larger new youth initiative currently being developed by the Gallery to support young local people interested in exploring new artistic and multi-disciplinary experiences.
Wagga Wagga Art Gallery Project Officer Maryanne Gray said that such experiences will include "visual arts, music technology, performance, spoken word and digital media," with the youth panel "making the decisions in shaping future workshops and creative events at the gallery."
"We encourage all of those interested to join us at the next workshop whether drawing is your strong point or not," Ms Gray said.
