The grand opening of a new playground started the year at Willans Hill School. It was a long time coming and the students have enjoyed their new space. The playground is inclusive for all students and will soon include a new sandpit.
After an exciting start it wasn't long until learning from home became the new normal as Covid forced everyone to stay at home.
"Staff did an amazing job of connecting with and providing engaging learning experiences," relieving principal Terri Inglis said.
"Our students have continued to triumph and achieve beyond our expectations."
This year more students than ever before took on work placements out in the community.
"Willans Hill would like to thank the Wagga Wagga community for their continued support of students," Mr Inglis said.
"Our school community, Parents and Citizens Association and the broader community have continued to work together with great success and create valued learning partnerships."
