The 21-year-old man was arrested in Tumut just after 2.30pm on Monday after an investigation by the the State Crime Command's child abuse and sex crimes squad.
He has been charged with three counts of having sexual intercourse with a child between 14 and 16 years at an address in Stanhope Gardens on October 4.

He appeared via video link on Tuesday at Wagga Local Court where he was granted strict conditional bail.
Magistrate Christopher Halburd said he took into consideration the accused's brain damage condition, as well as the distance from the alleged victim.
The matter will appear before the courts in Blacktown, Sydney on November 17.
