With four schools competing this year the competition was contested via a round robin format, with each team fielding two male and two male players.
Singles, doubles and mixed doubles fixtures are then played, with the school racking up the most games over that period declared the winner.
After beating Wagga Wagga High School 47-9 and Wagga Wagga Christian College 46-10, TRAC took a three-game advantage into the final round showdown with main rivals and defending champions Mater Dei Catholic College.
TRAC's team of Lucy Bennett, Vene Jonck, Sam Stening, and Juanu Jonck outscored Mater Dei's quartet 33-23 to give them an overall total of 126, finishing ahead of Mater Dei (123), Wagga High (60) and Wagga Christian College (37).
It was TRAC's fifth triumph overall in the history of the Combined Wagga Wagga High School's Sports Association's team tennis event.
"Before playing Mater Dei we were leading by three games, so it was very close coming into the final rubber," TRAC team coordinator Jennifer Jenkins said.
"It's usually decided with a final, but the round robin format still made for some very exciting tennis.
"It's great the players were still able to get out there and compete in the event in what's been a tough year to get school sport up and running."
Each singles match featured six games, while the doubles fixtures were contested across eight games.
Mater Dei Catholic College has dominated the competition in recent years after winning four of the previous five tournaments, sharing honours with TRAC across the last six years.
