The Sparrows made it three premierships in the last four years with a 2-1 win over Wagga United Thunderbirds at Equex Centre on Friday night.
A first half double from Daniel Airens helped Henwood Park out to a 2-0 lead before Wagga United struck back early in the second half through an Andrew White penalty.
The Sparrows were forced to dig deep when the send off of Lachlan Robinson left them with 10 men for the final 20 minutes but they were able to hold United out to claim the title.
Henwood Park player and manager Mark O'Reilly said the team's experience came in handy when defending their lead in a tense final 20 minutes.
"We parked the bus, sort of thing. A lot of the guys are pretty experienced, most of the guys are over 35, which makes it easier," O'Reilly said.
The victory proved a fitting farewell for coach Keith Maher and fellow players Sean Clarke and Mick Krecko, who all retired after the premiership win.
Maher praised younger players Jithin Thomas, Callan Millie and James Pitstock for their efforts during the season.
O'Reilly said the mix of youth and experience throughout fourth grade made it an enjoyable competition.
"Its quite an interesting mixture because the young kids can generally kick the ball past us and outrun us but then the older teams have often got a bit better skill set. It's quite a contrast," he said.
Airens was named Player of the Final.
Henwood Park's Ryan McKenzie was named Player of the Year.
