Police are examining the scene of a shooting in Wodonga from overnight as a man faces charges over the incident.

About 10 officers, including detectives and crime scene members, are focusing on the area outside the Wodonga Kmart.
A bullet hole appears to be visible in a grey steel pole.
Police have conducted a line search of an area in the car park which is taped off.
Leading Senior Constable Kendra Jackson said a Wagga man, 27, allegedly fired the gun after a verbal argument in the car park.
He was later arrested, along with a 23-year-old Albury woman.
"No one was injured during the incident and police believe the parties involved in the incident are known to each other," she said.
Members of the public expressed shock when told on Thursday morning a shooting had occurred a day prior.
Police will address the media shortly.
