Ms Berejiklian was grilled by reporters at a press conference yesterday afternoon where she was repeatedly asked about information uncovered at Monday's ICAC inquiry, which is investigating allegations Mr Maguire used his public office for personal gain.

"Hand on heart, I have done nothing wrong," she said. "Mr Maguire was in Parliament for nearly 20 years. Many of us trusted him and many of us were let down by him."

In response to many questions, Ms Berejiklian repeatedly referred to the "very open, transparent and honest" statements she made at ICAC on Monday.

Ms Berejiklian was also asked if Mr Maguire should be stripped of his parliamentary pension.

The former MP told ICAC this week he was still receiving a tax-free parliamentary pension of $80,000 per year, which had been reduced as he took a lump sum settlement and part was going to his ex-wife.

Ms Berejiklian said it was not for her to decide whether Mr Maguire continued to receive a parliamentary pension.

"That's a matter for the various bodies ... I will leave it to them," she said.
