Racing over farm land, Kahlefeldt won the half marathon distance in a time of 1:12.48, almost ten minutes ahead of runner-up Neil Spreitzer, while Wagga's Rachel Glasson won the women's race (1:36.20) and was 11th across the line overall.
Active Farmers helps create networks to improve physical and mental health in rural communities, with a strong group of runners taking advantage of perfect conditions.
"It was a really great event. There's limited races around with COVID and it was a unique course around the farms," Kahlefeldt said.
"It's for a good cause and it was quite undulating with some rough surfaces, but it was fun and picturesque.
"Some of the surfaces were quite rough and it was more a cross country event.
"To run 1:12 I'll take at the moment, I haven't raced for a long period of time and I'm just running these days and really enjoying it.
"We had the farmers out there participating and volunteering as well. They did a really good job organising it, there was COVID restrictions in place and this event will certainly grow in years to come."
Kahlfeldt has recently moved back to Wagga, where he and wife Radka have started up a swim school, Wagga Swim Hub.
The 10km race was won by Hamish Baylis (41:01), while Ollie Cardile (24:43) took out the 5km event.
