Professionals Wagga managing director Paul Irvine said the response was immediate when seven blocks off Gregadoo Road went up for sale.
"I released it Thursday, it was about 3pm, and there was five holding deposits by 5pm with people lined up behind the people that purchased it for a backup plan," Mr Irvine said.
The Prince Place subdivision is a cul de sac featuring blocks of 1353 to 2016 metres squared.

Mr Irvine said after the Crooked Creek Estate sold out, which backs onto Prince Place, there was still high demand for small pockets of land popping up in the suburb.
"Lake Albert's grown to be a very popular suburb in Wagga, it's complimented by really good private and public schooling with Mater Dei and Lake Albert primary, the development of the lake, the walking track," he said.
Mr Irvine said recent zoning changes allowing smaller lots in the area had given "Mum and Dad developers," predominantly in Lake Albert and Springvale, the chance to sell.
"They're not big land subdividers, they're people that have lived in their home for 15-20 years and now have the opportunity to subdivide," he said.
With more land set to be released in the suburb in the coming years, Mr Irvine said it was a growing neighbourhood.
He said while land was available in Wagga's expanding northern and southern suburbs, flat level blocks like these were hard to come by and in strong demand for the additional shedding, yard access and pool options they present.
"It's more of a lifestyle for the family," he said.
