The transcript of a prior examination of Mr Tse, a former Wagga restaurateur who now lives in China, was presented on Monday to the Independent Commission Against Corruption.

Mr Tse was shown an email during his prior testimony from Mr Maguire to himself concerning a trip to Fiji and a "large list of opportunities", including tourism, manufacturing and mineral resources.

Mr Tse agreed under questioning that his trip to Fiji was for "commercial opportunities".

A December 2013 email from Mr Maguire to Mr Tse said "Happy Xmas" and he "had another customer".

Under questioning, Mr Tse agreed he was in business together with Mr Maguire.

ICAC was presented with emails from Mr Maguire's former electorate staffer for a 2017 "islands trip itinerary" for trips to Vanuatu, Tonga and Samoa.

Mr Tse said he attended the trip with Mr Maguire and immigration agent Maggie Wang, where they discussed a potential "casino licence" for a "waterfront development" in Samoa.

Mr Tse's emails show he travelled with a person known only as "Kent" to a Griffith area winery to source products.

A email from Mr Maguire to 'Kent' thanked him for hospitality in China and discussed supplying 30 types of Australian wine.

Mr Maguire's email stated "our company will receive 10 per cent" of the deal.

ICAC also asked Mr Tse about his listing as a China contact for G8wayinternational, a company allegedly linked to Mr Maguire.

Mr Tse agreed that he was the company's representative, that Mr Maguire was involved in G8way, and that Mr Maguire sought profit for business introductions between China and Australia.
