With concerns earlier in the year that the day might not go ahead at all, organisers were thrilled to see a crowd of about 2700 attend the day.
The Gundagai Tigers stormed back to the top of Group Nine after a massive win over Tumut.
Group Nine operations manager Bob Hay was rapt with the result, particularly when it was not certain whether a season would take place at all.
