NSW Health and Wagga City Council approved plans to expand the current restrictions for Saturday's showcase.
"They were very happy for us to increase our crowd to 750 without having to make any major infrastructure changes," Southern Inland rugby manager Jack Heffernan said.
"It is similar to what the AFL and NRL have done this year but we just have to provide some extra facilities to accommodate the crowd increase."
In an endeavour to maximise access the second grade grand final between Leeton and Albury has been brought forward.
It will start at 11.15pm with the women's at 1.30pm before the first grade at 3pm.
Clubs were given the first allocation of tickets on Thursday with the general public able to access any still available on Friday.
