After watching Tumut win last year's grand final from the sidelines Jacob Sturt knew it was something he wanted to do too.

The 20-year-old didn't realise he would get the chance so soon but come Sunday he's looking to make the most of it.
"It's unreal," Sturt said.
"Awesome really. I was watching from the sidelines last year when I was playing in Canberra and while I was very happy I was very envious of everyone out there."
Sturt has been one of the most impressive new faces for the Blues this season after returning home due to the impact of COVD-19.
After a year with the Canberra under 20s, Sturt and Blues teammate Austin McDougall linked with Queensland Cup club Wynnum Manly.
However that opportunity didn't last long.
"Me and Austin were up in Brisbane and played in round one of our season in mid March, headed back home thinking it was going to be for a few weeks when the comp was on break," Sturt said. "The week after we got home they told us it was completely cancelled and I haven't even been up there since so it was definitely not the plan at the start of the year.
"I didn't know when I would be putting the jersey back on for Tumut, I didn't think it would be for a while yet, but it has been nice to be back in it sooner than I thought."
McDougall missed large sections of the season due to work commitments but has returned in the last month.
It just adds to Sturt's desire to help Tumut go back-to-back.
"Seeing Austin, who I've known since we were little kids, and played footy with since he started in the under 14s, win it I knew I had to get one back on him," he said.
"Doing it with him would be even better."
Sturt returned from an ankle injury to help Tumut book their place in the grand final after a 22-8 win over Young at Anzac Park.
The training issue ruled him out of the last two clashes with Gundagai.
Now he can't wait for another crack at them in the grand final at Equex Centre on Sunday.
"I think it is going to be very physical and a real tough 80 minutes," Sturt said.
"I know it will be the toughest footy I've played.
"I've only played Gundi the once in round one after missing the last two games but being a grand final, being Tumut v Gundagai it is going to be tough."
