The top two teams will lock horns for the fourth and final time in the game that matters most at Conolly Rugby Complex on Saturday.
Both head into the clash after wins.
Wagga City extended their unbeaten season with a 45-12 victory over Tumut at Jarrah Oval.
Despite missing a number of regular faces, and having their second grade playing at Leeton, the Boiled Lollies still managed to rack up a big score against the wooden spooners.
Meanwhile Waratahs also head into the decider after a 44-21 win over CSU at Conolly Rugby Complex on Saturday.
Coming off two straight wins, the Reddies lead 14-12 early but couldn't sustain their efforts.
Waratahs coach Angus Stevenson didn't believe it was a full performance but is confident the team is still building leading into the grand final.
"There was probably 30 minutes of really good football and there were 50 minutes where we were slowly getting into it," Stevenson said.
"When it was good it was really good and you could see we could do anything but it was probably a bit rusty after the week off.
"In the first half it just took us time to settle in."
A dazzling try from fullback Hamish McMahon gave the Reddies the lead in the first half.
However Stevenson was impressed by how his side started the second half to ensure they went into the grand final off the back of a win.
"There was a patch there early in the second half when we really switched on, got a bit of a lead up before we put a few reserves on to test the waters," he said.
Jayden Stanton had another strong game at five-eighth as he prepares for a grand final clash against the club he started the season with.
The Wagga side also came through the clash unscathed on the injury front.
Waratahs are gunning for a slice of Southern Inland history but need to get the better of Wagga City for the first time this season to be the first modern club to win a hat-trick of titles.
A late try to Steven Tracey proved to be the difference the last time the two teams met, with Wagga City taking a 33-27 win earlier this month.
The two clubs didn't have the same success in the preliminary finals of the two other grades.
In second grade Albury proved far too strong for Wagga City, booking a grand final date with Leeton after a 51-0 win at Leeton No.1 Oval on Saturday.
In the women's Ag College are through to their first grand final after a 41-7 win over Waratahs.
