A WOMAN has been taken to Wagga Base Hospital in a serious condition after crashing her car into a tree.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said they could not confirm the nature of the 72-year-old's injuries after the incident in Lake Albert.

PARAMEDICS are at the scene of an accident where a car has crashed into a tree in Lake Albert this morning.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said the driver - a 72-year-old woman - left the road on Lake Street about 8.45am on Friday.
"Two crews are currently on scene treating the patient," they said.
"The severity of her injuries are not yet known."
Police and Fire and Rescue crews are also on scene providing assistance to the woman.
Motorists are urged to take caution in the area while the accident is cleared.
