Traffic is slowly moving through the Olympic Highway after it wsa closed in both directions following a truck and car crash near Young on Monday.

The accident occurred near Pestells Lane, around five kilometres south of the township, soon after midday.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman confirmed paramedics responded to reports of a car and truck colliding around 12.10pm.
Fire and Rescue NSW crews joined them at the scene, where two women were discovered trapped in a silver vehicle.
FRNSW crews worked to free them from the wreck, and paramedics treated the pair at the scene.
An 81-year-old woman was taken to Wagga Base Hospital with minor injuries, the spokesman said.
A 51-year-old woman was also assessed at the crash site, while the truck driver didn't require treatment.
The Olympic Highway was closed near Hennessy Street and motorists were advised to allow plenty of extra travel time while emergency services and traffic crews respond to the crash.

One of the lanes reopened around 3pm, with stop-slow conditions in place allowing for both directions of traffic to pass the crash site.
