The Wagga club hasn't won a final since 2011, after crashing out in the last two seasons, and have been dealt another blow ahead of their clash with Young at Equex Centre on Saturday.

Morgan has been in sensational form on their left wing, scoring eight tries in eight games since moving from Kangaroos this season.

The young gun injured his hamstring in the 38-16 win over his former side last week.

Captain-coach Cameron Breust admitted it is a big blow for the side.

"Morgo has been instrumental to our team this year," Breust said.

"He's created quite a good combination with Jordy (Little) and Dylan (McLachlan).

"He will be a big loss for us."

Five of his tries have come in the past two games and the injury was a surprise after Breust declared the side injury free after the win.

"We didn't realise until after the game and it looks like it is quite serious," Breust said.

The loss has forced Brothers into a back line reshuffle.

Zac Wilson will shift to the left edge and take Morgan's place on the wing with Edan Price, who returned from a hamstring injury last week, moving into the starting side at right centre.

Breust is pleased to have the depth to cover the changes.

"It is great to have Edan back into the team," he said.

"Training wise he brings so much to the club and having him back fully fit and healthy is a big bonus for us."

Aaron Wynne also returns to the team after missing last week's win.

The hooker was cleared of any spinal issues after copping a high shot in the team's loss to Tumut two weeks ago however he has been named to start on the bench with Tyson McLachlan impressing from dummy half last week.

"It's just a bit of precaution as he is coming back from a neck injury so we don't want to push him too much," Breust said. "Tyson went really well last week at the number nine (too)."

Brothers scored a 32-18 win over Young when the two teams met at Equex Centre a month ago.

However Josh McCrone has come into the Cherrypickers, who have won their three games since.

Breust is looking for his side to put in a full performance to break their finals hoodoo.

"We are happy with how we are going but just need to be consistent," he said. "It is do or die for us now and if we lapse we won't quite be up to the mark but if we can string that 80 minutes together we will definitely be putting our front foot forward."
