The Reddies took a 41-33 victory at Jarrah Oval heading into the bye, just their fifth win in the past five seasons, and coach Paul Hood can't see why they can't repeat the dose at Conolly Rugby Complex on Saturday.
"We're going to have a very similar team so there isn't any reason why we can't back it up," Hood said.
"We've set some goals we want to achieve as we keep building for next year."
CSU have made just one change with Jacob Holt returning to England.
Ted Wright comes into the forward pack in his place.
Channeling their attack is one thing Hood would like to see improve.
However with Mitch Fealy returning to five-eighth he's confident it will as the club looks to build momentum for the 2021 season.
"I think our connectivity between our forwards and backs can probably improve a little bit," Hood said.
"I think with Mitch there he is starting to control it a little better but there are a few things we will work on to make sure we are attacking the right channels."
Victory for either side would go a long way towards avoiding the wooden spoon.
It is the only first grade game of the round with Waratahs and Wagga City having the bye.
The clash has been moved to Conolly Rugby Complex with Reddies having hosting rights to the first week of finals.
