Riley Corbett is favourite to replace forward Nick Murray after he broke his collarbone last week, should he prove he has recovered from a broken ankle suffered in round two.
However the Lions will also have to find a replacement for young wingman Tom Sase who dislocated his shoulder in Kildare Catholic College's Carroll Cup semi final loss to Mater Dei on Wednesday night.
The experienced Curtis Steele could loom as an ideal replacement should he return from a holiday to take his place.
The Lions' reserve graders also feature in this weekend's preliminary finals after a big win over Turvey Park last week, giving Macri plenty of options to consider.
"We're tossing a few things around so we'll wait and see and make a few decisions," Macri said on Tuesday.
"The reserves had a good win on the weekend by a large margin, and that's pressure, you need that in your footy club if you want to have success at the top level.
"It's something we've pushed for and that's what we want, there's going to be some people missing out but they're taking that really well."
Macri said Coolamon recruit Liam Delahuntry, who hasn't played a seniors match this year, is among the options.
"He's in the mix with the other guys as well," he said.
"He's playing good footy like the others but we've had a good side in for a while now."
