The incident happened just after 11am on Monday when a 70-year-old man was doing maintenance on the roof of the Thirsty Crow.
Turvey Park Fire and Rescue Station Commander Jeff Edwards said the man fell from a higher section of roof to a lower level.
"He seemed to have slipped on a ladder he was using, but our main concern was keeping him shaded and as comfortable as he could be until paramedics checked him over," he said.
NSW Ambulance crews, Volunteer Rescue Association personnel and police were all on scene, with paramedics administering first aid before returning him to the ground.
In other news:
"The paramedics accessed the roof alongside us while we loaded him into the aerial appliance and got him safely off the roof," Mr Edwards said.
The man was taken to Wagga Base Hospital for further tests and observations, but did not appear to have any major injuries.
