At 7.10am on September 5, police were called to Euroka Road, Quandialla, about 60 kilometres north west of Young after a passing motorist discovered the crash.
A 58-year-old man who was the driver and sole occupant of the Holden Colorado utility died at the scene.
Hume Police District officers have begun inquiries into the cause of the crash and believe it occurred some time between 11pm Friday night and when the vehicle was found on Saturday morning.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
