The long-awaited primary school, which will service the growing northern suburbs of Wagga, is due to be "ready for students" by early 2021.
A spokesperson for the department of education told The Daily Advertiser the "main construction works are progressing well", with the delivery and installation of the school buildings in August.
"Design for Manufacture Assembly (DfMA) building methods were used, including constructing school buildings offsite," the spokesperson said.
"This reduces the impact to local residents and saves time when compared to traditional builds."
