WAGGA Tigers coach Troy Maiden is confident his side's wastefulness in front of goal will be rectified before finals after wastefulness in front of goal didn't hurt them in a 3.17 (35) to 3.4 (22) home win over Turvey Park on Saturday.

The game was played in driving rain and strong winds which gave the Tigers some excuse for their ineffectiveness in front of goal.
After a fourth straight win the Tigers can secure a top two spot should they win at Osborne in the last round, but they'll be keen to rectify their goalkicking before finals.
"It rained for a fair bit of the game and there was still some misses we would have liked to have kicked," he said.
"We did create a lot of opportunities but didn't take them when they presented as well as what we would like, and 3.17 turned it into a tighter game than it needed to be.
"But full credit to Turvey Park they put a lot of pressure on us and played really well.
"The good thing is we are creating a lot of chances, we just have to concentrate and take them."
Fresh from their first win of the AFL Riverina Championship against Osborne last week, the Bulldogs held the Tigers scoreless in the first quarter to build an eight point lead.
"I'm still happy with our work around the footy, that continues to improve each week and today's conditions made finishing more difficult, but we're still getting better and better each week and that's what we're looking to do," Maiden said.
"Even though it was wet we still used the ball fairly well at times."
