The Temora trainer scored his first double as littermates Gracie's Rose and Coffee With Ten led all the way to win their respective heats at Wagga on Friday night.

Gracie's Rose improved on a fourth in her June debut while Coffee With Ten responded after being well beaten at two starts in South Australia.

Wallace was pleased with their runs.

"They went pretty well," Wallace said. "They didn't go overly fast times but the track was a little bit wet and the main thing is they won."

Gracie's First was slightly faster and Wallace hopes breaking through will be a confidence booster for the pair.

The 33-year-old has only had 18 starters over the past three years but has now won five races this season.

After breeding the Barcia Bale - El Ay Lucy litter he's pleased to see some dividends coming.

"We haven't had a great deal of luck with the litter so far but it is great to get a few racing and a couple of wins is always nice," Wallace said.

"I haven't been training too long."

Box manners helped produce the double and now Wallace is chasing a good draw for Thursday's final, a shift from the club's regular Friday timeslot.

Meanwhile Willy's Chance (Jack Roy) and Run Fast Maximus (Clint Colaiacovo) both added to their string of victories later on the night.

The pair have now both won four races in a row.
