The Goannas have ushered in a stack of high quality recruits for round three of the AFL Riverina Championship, with goal kicking machine Trent Castles joined by Marrar signing Zach Walgers, centre-half back Tim Smith and defender Nick McCormack.
After they bounced back from a round one loss with a win over Osborne last week, Rowe wants to reward the players who got the job done.
Jacob Smith, who has played VFL with Werribee, signed with North Albury this year but joined the Goannas after the Ovens and Murray League was cancelled.
"For us to be in a position where we've left a guy out with VFL experience this week is quite bizarre, and it certainly doesn't feel right," Rowe said.
"It's just a reflection of how unique this season is. He's got great ability, but we're wanting to make sure everyone is being treated the same.
"We can't wait to get Jacob into our first grade squad, but this week we've gone with blokes that deserve another opportunity, and we're not prepared to compromise our culture and integrity for any scenario.
"We only found out in the early stages of this week he's been cleared and available.
"Any other week, you'd love to let him walk straight in. But we've backed in guys who deserve to be backed in, and Jake has been really reasonable in his response to that."
Mitch Sykes has been denied a chance to play his former club after hurting his hamstring at training this week, while Sydney recruit Matt Collins is also sidelined after injuring his quad in the win over Osborne.
Dom Bunyan is a chance of missing the season after hurting his ankle in round one.
Rowe said he's excited to see what Albury recruit Castles can teach his young forwards.
"As much as we've brought him in to win games, as football supporters there's nothing more exciting to see a big forward who kicks 100 goals a season for fun come into your competition," he said.
