Best known for her touch football feats, including helping Australia win the Youth Touch World Cup in 2018, the 20-year-old has joined the Tigers after last playing in the competition for Turvey Park in 2017.
The Tigers recovered from a slow start to topple Osborne 37-30 in round one, before backing it up with a 56-26 victory against Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong last week.
Leeton-Whitton are looking to build on their first win of the year against Turvey Park last week.
With her touch commitments on hiatus due to COVID-19 this year, Podmore decided to join the Tigers to scratch her competitive itch.
"I haven't played footy netball for a couple of years, so it's good to be back playing," she said.
"Osborne was pretty tough straight up, but we played really well for the last three quarters. I feel like the scoreline in the Ganmain game didn't really reflect that we had to work pretty hard to get our goals.
"We're a new team and we haven't really played together that much, so any game time we get together we're improving all the time."
The Tigers' run of three straight Riverina League premierships came to a halt last year when they exited the finals in straight sets.
Podmore expects reigning champions and fellow unbeaten side MCUE to again be the team to beat.
"Osborne were pretty physical and Ganmain were more clean and their defence floated a bit more. It was good to go against two different styles to adapt to," she said.
In other matches on Saturday Turvey Park hosts MCUE, while Osborne takes on Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong at Osborne Sportsground.
