The association opted to go without a president this year after Julie Meecham stood down from their post, and applications to be her successor close on Friday..
A new senior competition director is also being sought after the men's and women's leagues resumed after the COVID-19 shutdown last month.
"We could do with some extra people on the board to make things easier, given the situation at the moment," treasurer Carol Pevere said.
"It's pretty quiet at the moment. Basketball NSW are trying to work out what we can and can't do, because obviously our rep program requires travel.
"We're not sure where that's up to, we're waiting for them to figure out what the best thing is before we do anything there.
"Most people are on board (with COVID-19 restrictions). Not bringing someone to watch has probably been the hardest thing to adapt to, but everyone's pretty understanding."
After six rounds of the men's 'Z-League' first grade competition, Orbit are setting the pace with five wins from six games.
In women's division one, Olympians are unbeaten through seven games.
