The Wanderers found the front midway through the opening half and never looked in trouble from there as they maintained their unbeaten start to the new season.
Luke Stevens put the Wanderers 1-0 up early before two goals in the space of five minutes in the second half from Tyler Allen and Zac Pinney put the result beyond doubt.
It ensured the Wanderers finished their three weeks at home to start the season undefeated, with seven points and they now sit as outright leaders on top of the ladder.
Wanderers coach Michael Babic admitted he would have taken the seven points from the three home games should he have been offered them at the start of the season.
"Yeah absolutely. I would have been happy with six, so to have seven at this point we're positioning ourselves where we need to be," Babic said.
"But with five hard games coming up, four away, we've had a lot of talks about 15 (points) we think is the target for finals so we've still got to go and find another eight.
"You don't want to be chasing them at the end so we're in a good position."
The result was never in doubt for the Wanderers on Saturday as they controlled the second half.
In fact, Babic was disappointed his team did not put more on than the three goals they scored.
"I'm happy to not concede, be that it was a clean sheet again. Slightly disappointing that we were a bit wasteful in front of goals," he said.
Babic warned his team will need to be more efficient up front than they were on Saturday in the weeks ahead.
"I think from a coaching perspective, you worry if you're not creating the chances because if you're creating them you know they'll come and we're certainly creating lots of chances," he said.
"So if our finishing gets a bit better, hopefully we can get better results. Having said that, the next couple of weeks are really tough games and we're not going to get a lot of opportunities so when they do come, we really need to take them."
Matt Menser showed why he is such a valuable addition to the Wanderers line-up with a superb performance through the midfield, then down back.
Zac Pinney, Sam Jones and Carl Pideski were others to shine in the win.
The Wanderers' under 23s were also successful, having a 7-2 win.
The under 18s was the only youth team to come out on top in their games against Canberra Croatia.
The Wanderers have the bye in the senior grades next weekend before facing O'Connor Knights on Saturday week.
