Someone in Tumut - or even a lucky visitor - remains oblivious to the fact they're hundreds of thousands of dollars richer, the organisation said.
The winning ticket for Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1494 was sold at the Tumut Newsagency, with owner Roger Maybury keen to see the tickhetholder come forward.
He's thrilled at the selling a second major prize ticket in the space of a few months.
"It's so exciting, we are over the moon," he said.
"We will be encouraging all of our players to check their tickets.
"We're hanging out to give someone that sensational news on a miserable winter's day."
The winning ticket is unregistered, meaning officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the lucky buyer.

"Just imagine what you could do with an extra $200,000 in your bank account," a spokesperson for The Lott said.
"Some of our previous winners have used their prizes to go on weekend getaways, buy new cars or boats, or do some much-needed renovations on their home.
"Make sure you check your ticket, which could be in your wallet, handbag, fridge door or car glovebox, because the winner could be you."
Tumut's winning ticket is the latest in a string of Riverina winners, including a massive $15 million prize sold in Wagga in April.
A Gundagai woman had a $1.8 million pay day in May after social media prompted her to check a ticket she's bought in a Saturday Lotto, and a Wagga woman got the year off to a good start with a $25,000 win off a $2 scratchie she bought herself on Christmas Eve, but left unscratched in her purse for weeks.
