Officers from the Riverina Police District are investigating the blaze after being called to a home on Menangle Street, Ganmain, about 12.45am on Monmday.
NSW Fire and Rescue crews also attended to extinguish the fire.
The house was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and at this stage, it is not yet known what caused the blaze.
However, police say it is being treated as suspicious after they were told two teenage boys were seen running from the scene at the time of the fire.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward as they continue investigations.
Witnesses or people with information can also contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
