Midfielder Perryman, 23, originally signed with Lavington Panthers, but opted to return to junior club Collingullie-Glenfield Park after the Hume League was cancelled.
However, the Demons' decision not to play this year has proven to be Osborne's gain, with Ed and Joe also to wear the yellow and black.
Nick said the decision was an easy one given their father, Max, played plenty of football for the club.
The brothers played briefly for Osborne in juniors, but have played plenty of cricket there.
The recruitment of the Perrymans will help fill the void left by the Albury recruits, who won't play this season.
"It just made sense. We live near the area and have got a bit of history there. It's a chance to have a game of footy," Nick said.
"It was a neutral arrangement I think. They lost a few blokes from Albury and we were pretty keen to have a kick around.
"They've got a pretty good list I think. They've been dominant in the Hume League the last few years and have also got some good kids, it will be interesting to see how we go.
"Dad played a lot of footy out there, we've got a bit of history there which is good."
Perryman said he had no issues with the Demons opting to not play this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"I think it was the best decision for the club. It was a mutual one, we just weren't in the position to do it," he said.
He added it's tough to pinpoint a team to beat in the whirlwind six-team, six-round competition.
"Everyone is going to be strong, I can't really pick a standout team. They've all recruited some pretty handy players, so it's hard to see who will come out on top," he said.
