A week after knocking over defending champions Hanwood, Henwood Park travelled to Leeton and upstaged United, downing the home team 5-2 at Leeton Sportsground.
The undermanned Hawks piled on three second half goals to continue their undefeated start to the season.
Missing Jake Ploenges, Nathan Trinder, Chris Hart and Dillon Blackwool, Henwood Park proved they also have the depth to match as Damon Watson, Cam Weir and Ash Woehler all hit the scoreboard in the win.
It has not taken long for Henwood Park to win over new coach Scott Elphick.
"I like the Hawkies, they've got heart," Elphick said.
"We had four players out and the guys we brought up from ressies, they all played well, stuck to the task and done what had to be done.
"These guys have got heart. We had a good talk about it at the end, that's what I like about them, they've got heart so they will go a long way."
Elphick believes his team's opening two wins have proven that there style of football is going to be successful.
"We've had a few doubters saying the style of football we're going to play, it's not going to work but obviously its working for us," he said.
"I was a bit worried about Leeton because they are hard hitters, we were watching them, the Gardner boys are hard to play against but once we figured out their playing style we countered that and away we went.
"It's about the team task and it's working. It's proven to the doubters that the style we play, works. It's a good style of football, that's what we're trying to introduce. I'm not going to say we're going to win every game but we're going to stick it in and at the end the results are what it is."
