A strike force investigation into the supply of illegal drugs in the Riverina has resulted in the arrests of five men across Griffith, Leeton and Narrandera.

Since April, the Murrumbidgee Police District's Strike Force Terraview has been investigating allegations of a large-scale operation supplying prohibited drugs - namely cocaine - in the region.
On Thursday afternoon, police arrested a 24-year-old man during an alleged drug deal on Kidman Way, Griffith.
He was charged with supplying a prohibited drug (commercial quantity), six counts of supplying a prohibited drug and two counts of ongoing supply and will face Griffith Local Court today.
Following this arrest, police executed two search warrants at Griffith and Narrandera, arresting four men between the ages of 19 and 27.
Police discovered cocaine, methylamphetamine, cannabis, cash, firearms and imitation firearms during the search, seizing the items for forensic analysis.
A 20-year-old Hanwood man was charged with five counts of supplying a prohibited drug and a 27-year-old Leeton man was charged with four counts of supplying a prohibited drug and they were refused bail to appear in Griffith Local Court today.
A 19-year-old Leeton man charged with three counts of supplying a prohibited drug was granted conditional bail and will face court in Leeton on Tuesday.

A 26-year-old Griffith man was charged with four counts of possessing a prohibited firearm, four counts of not keep firearm safely and possessing a prohibited drug and he was granted conditional bail, with his court date set for August 26 in Griffith.
District crime manager Detective Inspector Eugene Stek praised the work of local police in the arrests.
"The hard work and dedication of our officers has led to the arrest of five people for drug offences," Detective Inspector Stek said.
"The supply of drugs in regional towns has a major impact on the community, and it simply won't be tolerated."
