Neither have finished outside of the placings yet.
Samshu has won two of her five starts and heads into the Graeme Hull Smash Repairs 1-3 Wins Stakes (320m) off two placings while Saltarello scored her first win at start two last time out.
However Clare is hoping Saltarello can leave the boxes better this time around.
"If she can cross (from eight) she should go alright but her box manners aren't the best," Clare said.
"She is still very puppyish and hasn't matured. She has plenty of ability obviously but is a bit excitable."
Samshu is in a similar race to her littermate although Clare would like her to be drawn closer to the rails.
"Box four is not the best but being a 'corona box' it will probably help as she will be last in," he said. "If she is up anywhere near the lead she should go pretty well again."
