Man Hands broke through the $100,000 mark with her second Menangle win for the week on Saturday night.
Former Young trainer-driver Jason Grimson ended a six-month winless streak for the mare on Tuesday and backed it four days later.
Breeder-owner Grant Coelli is thrilled by how the move has worked out.
"It's been a good week," Coelli said.
"Super really and Jason has done a good job."
Man Hands hadn't tasted success since almost breaking the track record at Young in December.
She was unplaced in 10 of her next 11 starts before setting a new career best mile rate of 1:52.6 earlier in the week.
However Grimson's interest in the mare led to a change.
"I've been plagued with either bad draws or back luck when she was at home," Coelli said.
"She is just a better horse on the fence. Full stop. And isn't a great horse in behind.
"At Wagga she was a high rating and you couldn't get her into the race where she was drawn to lead.
"I was always looking to send her away but she went a little bit sore the night she galloped on young Bayley Duck. I had organised to send her up before that start but I just waited until I thought she was somewhere near abouts again.
"Jason had messaged me asking about her and I was pretty happy with her last run at Wagga so I thought now is the time."
From a runty little foal to a 100k 1.52 mare. Couldn’t be happier. Big thanks to @GrimsonJason for this week and also @EllenBartley93@blakejones351@KerrynManning@obrienracingvic@TipperaryEquine and @TroyPrimmer for the help along the way!! 👨🏽🙌🏽 pic.twitter.com/f4iQ85l2g3— Grant Coelli (@grantcoelli) June 27, 2020
While unplaced in her first start for Grimson Man Hands has won her next two starts.
Coelli is now hoping she can take advantage of racing her own sex.
"They have the one big money mares race and have a supplementary race there every week," he said.
"If you don't get in the first one you are in the second one and because all the mares up there like Molly Kelly are all pretty highly graded you are a chance of drawing a barrier if you are against them.
"The water walker is a big help too as she's a bit older, big and feels her joints so it has been a big help for her."
