After making the first grade grand final for the past two seasons, as well as second grade last year, all of which were losses to Waratahs, the Southern Inland club won't have a men's side in the competition this season.
While they are still able to have a women's side this year, the closure of the Charles Sturt University campus proved too big of an obstacle.
Signs looked good for the club at the start of the season with an influx of new faces coming off two grand final appearances.
Andreou hopes they will be able to return for next season to help the club get back to their best.
"It's disappointing but we've only got two or three players who aren't uni students," Andreou said.
"With the uni not opened it killed us."
CSU are looking to gradually see students return to campus.
However with no definite dates the club felt it had no choice but to pull out.
"There was no real timeline for students coming back for us to hold out," Andreou said.
"If students were coming back on the 13th of July, like some courses are it meant we could have held on and entered the comp with a second grade team but no one is coming back at all."
Ag College have created a link with Tumut, who won't have a women's team in 2020.
While the now complicated draws haven't been released Andreou could see some benefits of playing games together.
"We've let Southern Inland know but I'm not sure what they are going to do with the draw.
"It would make sense if essentially Ag College are their girls grade and our girls follow them around.
"If there are three Wagga clubs there is probably going to be a lot of games in Wagga."
Andreou could see a number of their men's players heading to Tumut, who are one of four clubs who have committed to playing first grade.
The Bulls join Waratahs, Wagga City and CSU in the top grade.
Albury, Leeton and Deniliquin are also taking part in second grade.
Hay will have a women's team for the first time but have not nominated a men's side.
Griffith will not field any sides in 2020.
With no Tumut there will be eight teams in the women's competition which could take top billing when the season starts next month.
Draws for all three grades are expected to be finalised this week.
