AFL Riverina informed clubs of the costs for the shortened seasons on Thursday night.
AFL NSW-ACT, in conjunction with the AFL, have decided to absorb the full fee of club insurance for the season.
The move is expected to save each club more than $3000 each.
On top of that, pay cuts from Riverina Umpires Association and a 40 per cent reduction in affiliation fees are set to offer significant relief to clubs.
Insurance, umpire and affiliation costs was set to cost each senior club $13,215 this year, but will now be $4315.
AFL Riverina chairman Michael Irons believes the figures should provide clubs with even greater confidence heading into a series of important meetings over the next two weeks.
"It's fantastic result from the AFL to absorb that cost in the current environment," Irons said.
"Combined with the umpires, who have really come to the party with their reduction as well, it has really brought the cost for clubs right down to an affordable level."
AFL Riverina has also reviewed netball fees and reduced what it could.
It hopes to raise the matter with Netball NSW and potentially explore other avenues to provide further reductions.
