If we were giving out awards for the most inspiring story of the week, then Hanna Cormick would win hands down.

The 35-year-old performance artist studied at CSU's Wagga campus before embarking on a career that took her all over the world.
But in about 2015, not only did the allergies that had afflicted her since childhood became exponentially worse, she started having severe reactions to more and more things, including most foods.
Ms Cormick returned to Australia and was subsequently diagnosed with mast cell activation syndrome, an immunological disorder which makes her susceptible to minute allergic triggers.
She is, essentially, allergic to the world.
Ms Cormick lives every day in pain, sealed off from the world in a room in her mother's house in Canberra.
But her story, beautifully told here by our reporter Catie McLeod, is one of incredible bravery and if you want to start the day with a bit of inspiration, I can't recommend it highly enough.
Meanwhile, we have been inundated with requests from our digital subscribers to join The Daily Advertiser's VIP Facebook page since its launch on Monday.
It is wonderful to see some familiar faces have signed up, as well as plenty of people I haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet.
We're working through each person's verification process as quickly as possible and hope to start rolling out some exciting initiatives in the very near future.
In the coming days we will have further instalments of our Behind the Byline series profiling The Daily Advertiser reporters who bring you the news each day.
All the best for the week ahead,
Ross Tyson, editor
