A week after steering Blissfulday to an overdue win, Bevan produced a top front-running display to drive Machs Legacy ($2.60) to victory in the TAB Odds & Evens 2YO Pace (1740m).
The 17-year-old sent Machs Legacy to the front from gate two and never looked troubled as the filly went on to score her maiden victory by 6.9 metres.
Machs Legacy improved at her second start when running second behind About To Peak last week, and went one better again on Friday for trainer Bernie Kelly.
"She's a nice filly. She works pretty good at home and I was lucky enough that Bernie puts me on her," Bevan said.
Bevan has been working full-time for Kelly for almost a year.
The multiple group one-winning trainer gave her some advice recently and Bevan has reaped the rewards with two wins and a placing for her last three drives.
"I wasn't driving aggressive enough so through the last couple of weeks I've learned to go forward and grow my confidence," she said.
Bevan got her driving career off to the perfect start with a win at her first drive back in February last year at Temora.
She is improving all of the time and most importantly, enjoying her involvement in the sport.
"They're going pretty good and I'm enjoying it so far," Bevan said.
"My grandfather and my Dad started with the horses and that's how I got to love them. Then I went through the mini-trots and decided to be a driver."
Machs Legacy won in a mile rate of 1:58.5, defeating Defiant ($1.80) and Better Harley ($10).
Meantime, Wagga trainer Paul Kahlefeldt enjoyed a winning double at Riverina Paceway on Friday.
Blake Jones steered Soho Beijing ($4.40) to victory in the Riverina Security Solutions NR47 Pace (1740m), before Jared Kahlefeldt guided The Maniac ($8.50) to back-to-back wins with success in the South Wagga Butchery NR47 Pace (1740m).
Jones also registered a double when guiding Last Walk ($3.00) to victory in the Riverina Asbestos Removal NR55 Pace (1740m).
Kahlefeldt also won on Brooklyns Best ($2.00), bringing up a double for himself, as well as trainer Ellen Bartley.
