The smart three-year-old proved that his last-start nine-and-a-half length romp at Albury was no fluke after blitzing his rivals again by 1.5-lengths.
A jubilant Duryea said the victory didn't come without some anxious moments after the race was delayed for several minutes with some runners fractious in the stalls.
"I think I got another two ulcers while he was stuck in the barriers waiting for the start," Duryea joked.
"But it didn't matter in the end.
"That was by far his biggest test today and he passed it with flying colours.
"The most pleasing thing about the win was he copped plenty of pressure in the lead but found another gear when it mattered."
Duryea said he was keen to raise the bar and head to Flemington in a fortnight and test Front Page against his own age before turning four.
"I decided to head to Wangaratta in preference to Wagga on Friday to give him experience the Victorian way of going," he said.
"It gives you that bit more confidence when you head to town."
Duryea said the win wouldn't have been possible without the help of Michael and Renee Hoysted who stabled Front Page and enabled him to race in Victoria.
