Rachel Keir has returned to Wagga Wagga to work for local Disability Employment Partner and Youth NDIS provider Job Centre Australia (JCAL).
Having previously worked for JCAL in Canberra, Rachel brings a wealth of experience to her role.
With years of experience in the nation's capital including appearing on a national panel for NDIS and assisting with recruitment at Parliament House, Rachel returns to her hometown to assist businesses to achieve their economic outcome, and to help highlight their inclusion and diversity action plans.
Rachel will be at the forefront for Job Centre Australia as they actively support Wagga Wagga City Council's Brighten Up Wagga Wagga, an initiative to showcase Wagga as a positive and vibrant city to locals and visitors.
Wagga Council wants to brighten people's spirits and look ahead for post Covid-19, where life returns to the new normal.
Rachel and JCAL are committed to doing their part to help regional employers and the local economy prosper.
"Caring about what I do and taking the time to invest in every professional relationship is my greatest strength," Rachel said.
"It's not just about finding work for job seekers it's about finding the right fit for everyone and creating sustainable and ongoing solutions.
"Working with businesses to achieve their diversity and inclusion action plans is very satisfying for all involved and I encourage businesses in the Riverina to reach out and see how we can help."
JCAL Operations Manager, Julie Taylor is very pleased to have Rachel back in the Riverina.
"Rachel's expertise is a great asset to JCAL and the Riverina as a whole. Rachel is passionate about the local area and we look forward to seeing Rachel excel.
