Now the government is trying to use the Industrial Relations Commission to have another attempt.
This is the action of an uncaring and unsympathetic government.
If it wasn't for these workers during the last six months, particularly during the bushfires, floods and now COVID-19, then NSW would be in a worse state than we are now.
Is this the NSW government's thanks to rural fire workers, SES workers, NSW health workers, housing and community service workers, police workers to name a few?
We need people to spend money in order to generate the economy, not freeze wages of hard-working public sector workers who have got us through the crisis over the the last six months.

CATERING TEAM WILL BE MISSED
We have heard that Mathew and Lauren Oates are finishing up their contract for catering at Wagga RSL Club and the Commercial Club.
They certainly deserve a good rest, and time with their family, and we hope they will do just that - however, we will really miss them and their staff's friendly and obliging service and good nature.
They served the best value for money food in Australia, with a cool drink included in the price. Unbeatable!
You were in a class of your own.
Thank you Mathew, Lauren and staff and Wagga RSL and Commercial clubs - well done. We look forward to those clubs continuing the same value for money quality catering that Mathew and Lauren had.
They've excelled - and it's going to be hard to top that. God bless you with every success for the future.
David and Heather Parkin, Wagga
PICKING AWAY AT FINANCES
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic there have been massive changes to people's financial situations - loss of income due to loss of jobs, closure of business (many permanently) loss of roofs over people's heads - the list goes on - with no certainty of an early return to pre-pandemic days.
Some people have had their pensions substantially reduced, causing hardship.

Now, could someone please advise me if they are aware of any politicians, business managers, corporate company executives and the like voluntarily reducing their income, or more importantly their bonuses?
I have just received a snapshot of one of our shrinking investment portfolios and noted the number of times 'administrators' have dipped their hands into this particular investment - eg initial fee, advisor service fee, administration fees, ongoing service fees (all including 10 per cent GST). No doubt there are also be other 'hidden' fees.
Now, if some of the above 'pickpockets' reduced their pickings by, say 10 per cent, and paid it back to me, I and many others could survive a little easier, spend a little more, stimulate the economy and of course create jobs and growth.
