A driver has been fined and had his licence suspended after he was caught travelling almost double the speed limit on the Hume Highway.

Albury Highway Patrol officers intercepted the Victorian-registered BMW at Little Billabong, north of Holbrook, on Saturday morning.
The police car's radar locked onto the vehicle at 210km/h in the 110km/h zone about 9.40am.
Officers spoke to the driver, a 29-year-old man from Lidcombe, and cancelled his licence for six months.
He was also fined $2482 for driving more than 45km/h above the limit.
In other police news, a number of infringements were issued during a rural crime blitz targeting illegal hunting in the Hay, Booligal, Maude and Hillston areas between May 21 and 25.
Forty-five vehicles were stopped resulting in one drug charge and one drover not complying with permit conditions charge.
Twenty-one infringements were issued for illegal hunting and traffic offences.
