Anyone with symptoms such as a sore throat or cough have been urged to get tested now as restrictions around the pandemic ease, and Murrumbidgee Local Health District's district manager of virtual care, Phil Major, said the figures were positive.
"We swabbed 26 people at the mobile clinic down at Wagga Beach today, which is great to see," he said.
"This means the word of the mobile testing clinic is certainly getting out there."
Other visits by the clinic in areas such as Griffith can see anywhere between 15-20 people being tested, according to Mr Major, who said Wagga's number today was on the mark.
"Especially considering we haven't had a new positive case in weeks, and people living in Wagga have access to GPs, the hospital and other ways of getting tested, it is a great number," he said.
